RTW Money Moves Summit Recap: Two Days of Wealth, Wisdom & Women-Led Power Plays
This past week, I had the pleasure of attending the RTW Money Moves Summit—a dynamic two-day event curated to empower women with the tools, insights, and inspiration to make major money moves. From impactful keynotes to intimate fireside chats, the summit was a blend of real talk, financial literacy, and fearless ambition.
Day 1 kicked off with a warm welcome, breakfast, and an energetic opening keynote that set the tone for the event. Vanessa Bowen’s "Money Mindset" session reminded us that abundance starts with belief. A standout panel, "Women Funding Women," featured leaders like Sonya Gill and Mallory Rowen who broke down the often-intimidating world of angel investing and venture capital.
The founders of Run The World Summit themselves took the stage for an unfiltered conversation about their journey, followed by "Beyond the Boys' Club," which highlighted the strength it takes to break into male-dominated industries.
One of my favorite panels—"$1 Today, $100 Tomorrow"—shared tangible ways to build financial independence through smart investing. But what really hit home was the raw honesty in "When Sh*t Hits the Fan," a no-holds-barred discussion on failure and resilience in business.
The day closed with a powerful panel on leading with heart and an unforgettable fireside chat with none other than Jully Black, who left us all inspired and empowered.
Day 2 was all about growth and scaling smarter. Amanda Kohal dove into AI and Innovation, while Vanessa Bowen returned with strategies to turn revenue into real wealth. Legal expert Shaneka Shaw Taylor broke down the fine print in "Deal Makers," giving us the tools to protect and power our businesses legally.
We wrapped the day with intentional networking, community building, and a fab gift bag to go.
The RTW Money Moves Summit wasn’t just an event—it was a movement. One where women came together to share, build, and rise. I left feeling informed, inspired, and ready to run the world—money first.
